The American Educational Research Association's (AERA) Annual Meeting will be held Friday, April 13 - Tuesday, April 17, 2012 in Vancouver, Bristish Columbia, Canada. The call for proposals opens June 1, adn closes on July 22, 2011. Please refer to the AERA website for details: http://aera.net
The Applied Research in Virtual Environments for Learning Special Interest Group (ARVEL SIG), http://www.arvelsig.com, invites you to submit proposals for presentation at the annual 2012 conference in Vancouver. The focus for ARVEL SIG this year will align with this year's confernece theme, "Non Satis Scire: To Know is Not Enough," will be on educational research topics relevant to Shifting Relationships among Scholarship, Learning, adn Immersive Technologies. We are accepting papers that align wtih the SIG's stated goals of Applied Research or Research that supports, provides, or delivers learning and/or instruction through the use of immersive or virtual experiences/interactions taht engage participants using computers/digital mediation and/or technology.
